About Dr. Mark Costes
Dr. Mark Costes, a first-generation American, was born in Poughkeepsie, NY. He achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, and furthered his education by attaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry. After completing dental school, Dr. Costes initiated the Horizon Dental Group, which swiftly expanded to include six prosperous dental practices situated across Arizona in cities like Flagstaff, Williams, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Scottsdale. Through strategic transitions, he now oversees two offices – one in Prescott Valley and the other in Chino Valley – out of the original six. In 2006, Dr. Costes crafted an innovative dental assisting school curriculum that gained approval from the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Education. This laid the foundation for The Horizon Schools of Dental Assisting, a venture that has impressively grown to encompass over ninety locations nationwide. Accumulating wisdom from years of practice establishment and nationwide business ventures, Dr. Costes has forged a unique understanding of effective business management. He channeled this expertise into founding The Dental Success Institute, a consulting firm geared towards assisting fellow dentists in navigating the challenges of practice ownership and elevating their establishments.
