Menomonee Falls WI, April 2021 – Dr. Miranda Peter and the Team at High Point Dentistry are eAssist’s most recent recipients of the Top Practice Award. A native of Menomonee Falls WI, and graduate of Brookfield Academy, Dr. Miranda Peter earned her BS in Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Health Studies, from Marquette University. After graduating from Marquette’s School of Dentistry, she gained advanced experience in general dental procedures by completing a fellowship in Eau Claire WI, before joining High Point Dentistry.
Giving of herself and her time to help others and build leadership skills has always been important to Miranda. She served as president of her college sorority, volunteered at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic, participated in numerous dental Missions of Mercy, and volunteered at a local clinic providing dental care to low-income children and pregnant women. Dr. Peter continues to stay current on dental advancements, attend continuing education courses, and participate in numerous local and national dental organizations.
But even before college, Miranda was inspired by her own pediatric dentist. As a result of shadowing and even assisting her mentor while still in high school, Miranda realized that dentistry is a unique combination of science and art – her two favorite subjects.
“The blending of these skills fueled my lifelong dream to become a dentist. These passions also shape our philosophy to treat all patients as if they were family and provide personalized care… to help people gain or regain their self-esteem and confidence through their smile,” explained Dr. Peter.
