Oxon Hill MD, October 2020 – Dr. Tanek Jenkins and the team at ABC Kids Dentistry are eAssist’s most recent recipients of the Top Practice Award. This honor is awarded each month to two exceptional eAssist clients who embody the values of integrity, expertise and grace, while providing exemplary patient care, running efficient operations, and giving back to their communities. Presented to the practice as a whole, the award recognizes the need for a cohesive unit to run a practice to the highest standards.
A year after achieving her specialty in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Tanek Jenkins recognized the children in her suburban DC area were being underserved, and endeavored to do something about it. Having worked as an associate for a year, she was ready to open her own practice devoted exclusively to the care of children, and in 2005 ABC Kids Dentistry was born. Along with maintaining her private practice, Dr. Jenkins is also on staff with Shady Grove Hospital.
In addition to receiving this quarter’s Top Practice award from eAssist, Dr. Jenkins and her team were honored to be voted a “Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite” in 2019 by their patients and others in the community.
