What does peace of mind look like to you? Is it emotional safety? Physical wellness? Financial security?

In this presentation originally given at the Speaking Consuling Network, Jacquelyn Hurley and Greg Grobmyer share how eAssist’s family of brands delivers peace of mind to clients.

Jacquelyn: Hey everybody, we’re so excited to be here today. Thanks for that great introduction, Tiffany. I’m excited to introduce Dr. Greg Grobmyer to you. He is the Chief Editor of the Coding with Confidence books by Dr. Charles Blair.

What does it mean to have peace of mind? It’s been said to be a feeling we have that is emotionally, physically, or financially secure. When I was a young mom, I had four children under the age of 10. As you can imagine, it was a very busy time of my life. We’d get up, do breakfast, get the kids out the door, do lunches, homework, etc. When I think back, the one thing that brought me peace of mind was at night when everyone was in the house. I could lock the doors, tuck everyone in their beds, and I knew everyone was safe and we made it through another day.

Dr. Grobmyer: This skinny dude up there, that’s me. That’s me after surgery and 12 rounds of chemotherapy. I got diagnosed with colon cancer when I was 36 years old. I do not suggest this as a weight loss program or option. Zero stars, do not repeat. I lost the feeling in my fingertips and feet. I had to exit the dental clinical practice that I had for over a decade. I’m proud to say I’m now 14 years cancer free. But it took 10 years before I heard the words from a physician that I wanted to hear, “My incidence of recurrence of cancer had returned to that of the normal population.” Those words were a gift to me. They were peace of mind to my personal well being.

That’s what we want to deliver to the clients you have. I’m happy to work with a group of companies that all work to provide financial peace of mind to dental offices.

Practice Booster, eAssist, and Unitas help wit the revenue cycle management side of things. Dental Zing is our continuing education platform. eAssist Consulting Network is a great way for us to connect with consultants to help clients.

eAssist is known as an outsourced dental insurance billing company. Since they were founded 10 years ago, they have collected over 12 billion dollars from insurance companies for our doctors. But they also do all these other services too. They do insurance verification and patient portion. They also help with EFT & deposit reconciliation, dental accounting, and patient recall.

Then there’s Practice Booster. Hopefully you know the Coding with Confidence manual. Dr. Charles Blair and I work together on that together. We rewrite this book every single year with the current CDT code updates. Over the last three years, there has been over 160 changes to the CDT coding set, so if you don’t have updated resources in your office, be sure to get a new book please. We also have a documentation, technology, and amazing administration book. We have an online code advisor that shows what’s in the Coding with Confidence manual in an online format. It also comes with call center support.

There are two other programs I want you to be aware of for your clients: revenue enhancement program and coordination of benefits program. The revenue enhancement program is a three-hour deep dive. We look at the office’s procedure utilization rates and coding. I teach coding strategies and rebalance their fees. We’ll reset their fee schedule to where they need to be based on benefits. The coordination of benefits program helps offices collect money they are currently leaving on the table.

Unitas PPO Solutions does fee negotiations and network optimization. They make sure your dental practices are in the correct relationship with the PPOs they are in network with. That could be a direct contract, umbrella network, or lease network. It’s going to greatly affect the fee schedule they end up with. They can really help your practices in that regard.

Jacquelyn: I want to tell you quickly about the eAssist Consultant Network. Our goal with the network is to make it a win-win situation for your clients or people that you come across who might need to outsource their dental billing. We’d hope that you’d mention eAssist when you come across a client who needs that. In return, we want to help you build your business. We’ll put your personal landing page on our website that gets over 20,000 visitors per month. We’ll invite you to be a guest on our Growing Your Dental Business podcast, a presenter on an eAssist client content webinar, and we invite you to share a course on dentalzing.com.

All of these products aim to deliver peace of mind. I hope you can find peace of mind by utilizing our products.
