This honor is awarded each month to two exceptional eAssist clients who embody the values of integrity, expertise and grace, while providing exemplary patient care, running efficient operations, and giving back to their communities. Presented to the practice as a whole, the award recognizes the need for a cohesive unit to run a practice to the highest standards.
Nhung Kim Nguyen, DDS graduated from The University of Texas in Houston. She has over 14 years of experience in general dentistry, and especially enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry. James Nguyen, DDS graduated from UT Houston at the same time. Along with general dentistry, his particular passions became restorative dentistry and orthodontics, including expertise in Invisalign.
“At True Care Dental we promise to provide our patients with exceptional care that’s personalized and gentle, and gives outstanding results,” explained Dr. Kim Nguyen. “We understand that each patient’s dental needs are unique, so we take the time to really listen to ensure that the treatment plan we create is based on their individual needs.”
True Care Dental has grown to include a third doctor, several hygienists and dental assistants, and office support. Even though almost all have been in the dental field for more than 15 years, the doctors and staff frequently attend continuing education seminars to learn the latest dental techniques, in order to continuously provide the best and most complete dental care.
In an email earlier this year, Dr. Nguyen shared that, like so many other dental practices, True Care Dental was continuing to address challenges brought about by the pandemic, and subsequent economic factors. She expressed her gratitude to their team of eAssisters by saying:

It is the only way that I can pay my team and keep my door open. Every day has its ups and downs and uncertainties, but we are all still healthy and able to provide great care for our patients. It is understandable since Houstonians, like everyone else, is having to deal with inflation from food to electricity, to housing costs.
