I had an ortho claim with Delta of NC. The patient had Cigna when they started then converted over to Delta mid treatment. We sent a pre-auth to Delta which was approved. We sent the claim and it was denied. I fought the claim for 7 months, filed a provider dispute and included the commissioner. Finally last week we received full benefits paid in full for $1000 ortho lifetime max.
