Hazelwood MO, January 2021 – Drs. Blake and Brent Setien and the Team at LifeSmile Dental are eAssist’s most recent recipients of the Top Practice Award. This honor is awarded each month to two exceptional eAssist clients who embody the values of integrity, expertise and grace, while providing exemplary patient care, running efficient operations, and giving back to their communities. Originally opened in 1982, LifeSmile Dental has been owned since 2011 by twin brothers – St. Louis natives who graduated from the local high school, then Missouri State University, and ultimately University of Missouri School of Dentistry.
Dr. Blake Setien completed a one-year fellowship at the California Implant Institute, and has been awarded Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has completed multiple certification courses in CEREC digital restorative procedures for same-day dental crowns, veneers, and dental bridges.
Dr. Brent Setien has advanced training in same-day digital dentistry and is experienced in providing cosmetic dental treatment options and root canal therapy. He is a certified Premier Invisalign Provider and a member of the CEREC Doctors Mentor Group.
The entire team – which includes Dr. Abbey Smith, also a St. Louis native; plus a team of four hygienists, a patient care coordinator, and two office managers – takes pride in establishing lifelong relationships with their patients by getting to know them, and understanding their dental needs. And then, by providing the most advanced treatments utilizing the latest technology and training to improve the patient’s quality of life.

Recently they provided free implants to a marine veteran as part of the Dental Lifeline Network – a nationwide network of dentists and labs that volunteer their time and services to provide free dental care for the disabled, elderly and medically fragile.
