Seattle WA, March 2021 – Dr. Thomas Kang and the Team at Puget Sound Periodontics are eAssist’s most recent recipients of the Top Practice Award. This honor is awarded each month to two exceptional eAssist clients who embody the values of integrity, expertise and grace, while providing exemplary patient care, running efficient operations, and giving back to their communities. Though born in Texas, Dr. Kang grew up in Washington and earned his BS degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and his DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in California. Following graduation, he was one of two applicants accepted into the Graduate Periodontal and Implant Specialty program at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
Since opening Puget Sound Perio in 2006, Dr. Kang has gone on to become a LANAP-certified clinician, and a Pinhole Surgical Technique-certified clinician (one of only two in Washington). He is generally considered one of the most prolific dental implant surgeons in the northwest region of the United States. With an annual rate of over 600 placements per year since 2007, his expertise has been rewarded with Diamond Level Partnership with Nobel Biocare, and Diplomate Status with the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is proud of having been recognized as a Top Dentist in the Seattle area every year since 2008, as well as being a Patient’s Choice Winner as one of the top Seattle Dentistry practices.

Having grown the practice to now include six doctors and four locations, it’s no surprise that Dr. Kang maintains a large team nearly 25 strong of clinical assistants, hygienists, treatment coordinators, appointment coordinators, administrative support, and even a dedicated patient advocate.
