San Antonio TX, March 2022 – Dr. Alejandro Cavazos and the Team at Bright Smile Dental are eAssist’s most recent recipients of the Top Practice Award. This honor is awarded each month to two exceptional eAssist clients who embody the values of integrity, expertise, and grace, while providing exemplary patient care, running efficient operations, and giving back to their communities. Presented to the practice as a whole, the award recognizes the need for a cohesive unit to run a practice to the highest standards.
A native of Brownsville, TX, Dr. Alejandro “Alex” Cavazos graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in music. He taught science and coached sports at a local high school prior to starting his career in dentistry. He attended University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in 2011, earning the Resident of the Year award.
Dr. Cavazos went on to earn the distinct honor of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2016, an achievement reached by less than 6% of all general dentists in the United States and Canada. AGD Fellows are committed to continuing education that keeps them abreast of the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. Additionally, he is currently enrolled in comprehensive advanced education courses through the Pankey Institute in Florida, which is dedicated to training and mentoring the future of dentistry with a commitment to excellence.
