As the practice leader, Dr. Berd has a prominent list of accomplishments and honors. Among these are his graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, receiving awards for clinical excellence while there. An additional award came as he received a certificate from UCSF School of Dentistry for dental implants. He currently serves as a clinical professor and volunteers on medical missions frequently.

In July of 2017 the entire practice volunteered and provided free services to the San Francisco Homeless Prenatal Women’s Program.
