Melissa has been working for eAssist since August 22, 2019. She has a passion for dental billing as she feels it allows her to bridge the gap between dental providers, insurance companies, and patients. Helping providers get the money they are rightfully owed and simultaneously utilizing the patient’s dental benefits that are owed to them brings her satisfaction.
In April 2019, Melissa gave birth to her 3rd child. Due to her pelvis separating as a result of delivering her son, Archer, Melissa was immobilized without knowing the timeframe of when she would be able to go back to work. Luckily, one of her close friends had recently joined eAssist in February of 2019. She suggested to Melissa that eAssist may be a good fit for her, especially with her being immobilized for the foreseeable future.
When asked about Melissa, her Team Leader had this to say “ Regardless of the situation, Melissa always has a smile on her face and in her voice which is so important when we work virtually. I’m thankful to have her on my team and can’t wait to see the amazing things she will do at eAssist.”
Melissa now enjoys being able to work from home, despite any complications that may arise and still make a living doing something she loves. She lists as one of her favorite aspects of eAssist is “the ability to work at my own pace, within my own hours.” When she isn’t working for eAssist, Melissa enjoys watching some of her favorite shows like The Office, Friends, and Fuller House on Netflix.
